Celebrate With 4th of July Fireworks!

Happy 4th of July to everyone who celebrates! I hope everyone who experienced tropical storm / hurricane Arthur is doing okay.

With 4th of July on the fritz this year, I decided not to risk it and went to a 4th of July fireworks show last night. And hey, if the fireworks don’t get cancelled for tonight, who’s not okay with double fireworks nights?!

I captured a video from the 4th of July show; even if your holiday is washed out, enjoy a bit of fireworks anyways. Have a safe, fun holiday!

    It sounds like the storms y’all had on the east coast were crazy! glad you were able to enjoy some fireworks. We skipped them this year because we had been swimming all afternoon and the girls were tired. Plus I wasn’t sure how the baby would do. Turns out we could hear them from the house and they scared the tot. Stayed up until 10:30. Sigh. Nexttime we’ll just go to the show.

      The storms were definitely crazy! I was so happy we fit in fireworks on the 3rd because all day of the 4th, we had 60+ mph winds and downpour rain.

      Oh boy, that sounds like a long night for your family! My next door neighbor (who has a little tot about 2-3) was up all night long too with her child. It always makes me feel bad that fireworks are (usually) so enjoyable for adults, but the can scare kids so badly! Hopefully next year if you go to the show + the tot sees the light show, the noise won’t be as scary :)
