{ Link Love is a new feature that will appear sporadically on Friday’s. Link Love is a collection of articles, blog posts, photography, and inspiration for living green and seeking simplicity in life. }

It’s finally time for the weekend! Can I get a celebratory shimmey, shake, and dance? If not, I’ll just be over here on my onesies shaking and grooving in happiness. I’ve been knee-deep in this book lately, and simply can’t wait to devour the rest of it this weekend. Spending some time outdoors in the sun is must-do as well. I sense a trip to the local sheep pasture in my future.

To start your weekend off right, I’ve found some inspiration that I’d love to share…

♥ If you’re not interested in growing plants for food and sustainability, what about cuteness? Japan is making waves with their miniature bonsai gardening that is undeniably adorable.

♥ Depending on where you live, you’re in beet season! Looking for inspiration to turn your abundant beets into delicious treats? A beet + egg breakfast or beet bon-bon’s are sure to fill your belly with happiness.

♥ In desperate need of a summer vacation but the boss-man isn’t playing along? Take a virtual vacation to France and delight in the beauty of the country side!

♥ Learn how living in Cambodia has changed one blogger’s perspectives on living green and reusing everything possible!

♥ Take a springtime walk and soak in the loveliness of poppies.

♥ Plants make people happy, but can make your pets incredibly sick. Check out a list of non-toxic houseplants that are human-and-fur friendly!

♥ “I want to live a greener life, but I don’t know where to start!” Don’t miss these 10 tips to start your path to green living.

      I love showcasing some of the wonderful links I’ve found on the web :) I was so happy to include your beets + eggs recipe, and I’m going to be making it this weekend. I hope you have a fantastic weekend as well!

      I love doing it about twice a month just to show some of the awesome internet finds :) I’ve seen a lot of ‘link love’ posts, but always wanted one that had a green living spin, so that’s what I’ve done! I’m so glad you enjoyed it.

    Thanks for putting up a link to a toxic plant list. It bothers me that so many people don’t know these things–including florists sending toxic flowers to homes with pets.

      Exactly! One year, I ordered a Christmas bouquet for my parents. I repeatedly told the florist that we had cats + dogs so no poinsettias could be included. And what do you think the bouquet was full of? Poinsettias! Hope you find a non-toxic plant from that list that you like :)

    Thanks so much for sharing a link to my site! :) I used to dislike beets and cabbage. And then, for whatever reason, I started growing them myself and now I love them. Who would’ve guessed it! What a great series of links. Have a great weekend!

    Great links! I was never very eco conscious until I moved to the UK; I love finding new ways to be green now.

    • http://belongwithwildflowers.com/ Caitlin

      Thank you :) I’ve heard that being “green” is pretty popular in the UK! A lot of the gardening / farming / living green blogs I follow are actually based out of the UK. It’s so interesting to learn ways of different countries!

    • http://belongwithwildflowers.com/ Caitlin

      A printable would be so adorable!! If you make one, I’d love to see it :) You can find me on Goodreads here: https://www.goodreads.com/belongwithwildflowers … I’m a big book lover, so my ‘to read’ list is out of control long, haha.
